Every SIXT rental includes the Basic Protection with a standard excess; the Smart Protection and the All-Inclusive Protection reduce it to zero. Upgrade online before pick-up to lower your risk.

Enter your SIXT voucher during the booking process on the website or in the SIXT app in the "Voucher and Bonus Program" section – the discount is applied immediately to your total price.
Step by step
Start your search on the website or in the SIXT app with rental period, pick-up location and vehicle category
Select a "Pay at Pick-up" rate – prepaid rates are excluded
Add extras or protection packages if needed, then enter your personal details
In the "Voucher and Bonus Program" section, enter your voucher number and click "Redeem voucher"
Complete the booking – the discount appears in your total price
Important rules
Only redeemable on new bookings with the "Pay at Pick-up" payment option
Cannot be applied retroactively to existing or past bookings
Vouchers are valid in selected countries (e.g. Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, USA and others) – check the validity on your voucher
The rental must be completed before the voucher expires

SIXT prices are dynamic – if you search again, the rate can change with demand, availability or a change to your dates or location. A quote is only guaranteed once your booking is confirmed.

Currency check
SIXT shows prices in the local currency of the pick-up country. A foreign card is charged at your bank’s rate on transaction day, which can differ slightly from the quote.

SIXT offers three certified seat types — baby, toddler and booster — covering children from birth to 12 years. Add the right one to your booking under "Add-ons" so it is ready at the SIXT branch when you collect your car.
Which seat for which child
Baby seat: babies up to 1 year, height 40-85 cm (16-33 in) — rear-facing only
Toddler seat: children aged 6 months to 4 years, height 61-105 cm (24-41 in)
Booster seat: children aged 4 to 12 years, height 100-150 cm (40-59 in)
