SIXT+ CAR SUBSCRIPTION

After expiry of the minimum term, you can easily terminate your subscription by returning your vehicle to the SIXT branch. The return must be announced at least seven days in advance in your subscription, in the SIXT app or in your online account. Please note that returning the vehicle before the end of a 30-day billing period will not result in a pro-rata refund for unused days and returning the vehicle before the end of your chosen minimum term will not reduce the term of the contract without a corresponding charge.

All our SIXT+ vehicles come with liability insurance. In addition, when configuring your subscription, you have the option to select your protection package, e.g. choosing either a lower excess, tire and windscreen protection, or personal accident protection. We also offer 24-hour mobility, a service that protects you from further potential costs, especially when breaking down.

You can easily choose the start date of starting your car subscription in the first step of the online booking process. Once you have completed your booking, the selected date is also shown in the booking confirmation email and in the subscription view of your SIXT account. On the day of pick-up, you can collect your vehicle from 10am onwards.

Certain regulations apply to the minimum age and driving licence, which depend on the respective vehicle and are highlighted in the online booking process. In general, the minimum age for every driver is 21 years (driving licence held for at least 1 year). A deviation from the minimum age and driving licence restrictions is possible depending on the exact vehicle. An additional fee (young driver surcharge) is charged for drivers under the age of 28.

All our SIXT+ vehicles are new or as good as new and a maximum of 12 months old. Each vehicle is also professionally cleaned before handover.

Credit and debit cards from all internationally recognized providers (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB) are accepted as means of payment. Payment with prepaid or Maestro cards is not possible. The means of payment must be issued in the name of the driver, presented on vehicle pick-up, and be valid for at least 30 days. In addition, depending on the vehicle category, a security deposit will be authorized. For business customers with a framework agreement, invoice payment is also available.

The SIXT+ car subscription covers all individual mobility needs flexibly, easily, and at short notice. That's why we offer a wide selection of different vehicle groups, from small cars to premium SUVs. All vehicles in our fleet are new or as good as new, generously equipped, and categorized into groups based on comparable characteristics. There is no guarantee for a specific desired model from the booked group.
