Metered street parking on Spanish streets is indicated by a blue line while yellow markings show that no parking is allowed. Alicante has over a dozen, clearly marked car parks, several of which are open 24-hours a day.

The Town Hall is an imposing building with towers, turrets and arcaded walkways while the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas of Bari has an eye-catching blue dome and one of the most beautiful chapels in Spain.
