Details of how to find each of our Madrid branches can be found on the map accessed simply by clicking on the second tab next to the location menu, where you will also find branch opening times. The variety of locations offers you convenience, as you can collect your rental vehicle from whichever of these locations is the easiest for you. Choosing us for your car hire in Madrid also offers you the choice of some of the world's best-known prestige brands, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi. We will always do our best to provide you with the vehicle of your choice, but we can only make reservations for a category rather than an individual model.

Our Service

Whether you are coming to Madrid for a business trip or a weekend break, you are sure to find something within our fleet of rental cars to suit your needs. Take advantage of the warm Spanish weather with a convertible, or drive out to the mountains in a 4x4. We can supply you with a city vehicle for ease of parking, a mid-sized vehicle or even a van! Or if a luxury coupe is more your style, we can help you, too. In addition, we can provide the little extras that make all the difference, such as child seats for families, or insurance for additional drivers in your party. Drivers aged under 25 can also be insured on our vehicles, even some of our luxury models. All add-ons can be booked when you reserve your rental car.

We also offer a variety of extras specific to Madrid. We understand that sometimes your travel plans have to change, so we won't charge you extra if you need to cancel and rebook for a different date. You won't have to worry about restricting your mileage while you are here, as we offer unlimited miles on all our rental vehicles. You will automatically receive third party insurance, and should your vehicle be lost, stolen or damaged while it's in your possession, our Loss Damage Waiver will entitle you to an excess, rather than you being held responsible for the full cost of the vehicle. For anyone heading out into the mountains, be sure to look at our great deals on snow chains and ski racks too!

Car rental in Madrid can easily be done from your smartphone with our Sixt app, allowing you to hire a car on-the-go! Alternatively, call us, book online or pop into one of our branches to make your reservation.

Traffic Information

Madrid is divided into 21 different zones, with Puerta del Sol at its centre. From here you can get your bearings to all the other areas of the city. The entirety of Spain's road network radiates outwards from this point. The main route through the city is the Paseo de la Castellana, which runs from north to south. The city is bordered by the M-30 ring road, which is the busiest road in the whole of Spain, and is often highly congested. Two further ring roads, the M-40 and M-50, run further out than this, and are the main routes to the suburbs, surrounding towns and outlying rural areas.

As in any capital city, Madrid has a heavy volume of traffic, and drivers tend to be impatient, especially with other road users who are lost or driving slowly. Including SatNav with your car hire is probably a good idea to help you find your way with more ease and confidence.

Madrids Incredible Art

Madrid is famous for many things, including its history, culture and style, but it is probably best known for its art. Madrid houses some of the finest collections of European art in the world, mainly within three galleries, the Prado Musuem, the Reina Sofia Art Centre and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. These are collectively known as the Madrid Art Triangle, and feature works by some of the world's most iconic artists including Picasso, Goya, Rubens and Bosch. All three galleries are close to the city centre, within easy reach of several of our branches.
