If you are moving to university or simply changing flats, we can provide you with transport you need at great prices with flexible options. This means you can hire for a few hours, a few days and even-long term. Although there are some requirements, we can always offer our small hire vans to help with moving equipment, furniture or other such things.
Our smaller vans are available from 21 years of age. Fast and versatile, our Ford Transit Custom has plenty of loading space. This makes it ideal for getting around narrow streets while still being able to carry a good amount of heavy and large items. If you are 23 you can even go up a tier with the larger model, giving you that extra room. We also have smaller vans for younger drivers from Volkswagen, each of them no more than 3 months old, providing all the best manoeuvre and safety features.
When you are looking to make a small move or pick up a piece of furniture, our small rental vans will do the job just right.
If you are looking for more space and moving power, then our medium-sized hire vans are perfect.
With plenty of space, this truck is suitable for larger projects and still comfortable to drive.
We have a number of different van options for 21-year-old drivers. You'll be able to rent vans with the following ACRISS codes: A (e.g. Mercedes-Benz CITAN, Citroen Berlingo), B (e.g. Ford Transit, VW Crafter) or V (e.g. Ford Transit Custom, VW Transporter, Vauxhall Vivaro). You can use the drop-down filitering in our booking funnel to see exactly which categories are available at each branch.
In addition to the categories available at 21, van category S (Ford Transit and VW Crafter Extra Large) is also available to rent for 23-year olds.
As long as you are 21 years of age, you are able to hire and drive a van with a regular driving licence. You must have held the licence for al least a year and anyone under 23 must have zero points on their licence in order to hire a van. When picking up your van at a SIXT branch you will also have to bring 2 proofs of your address,
