I added a voucher and then cancelled my booking — can I still use it?

You can apply a voucher or promotional code to a SIXT ride booking during checkout — either on the website or in the SIXT App — and the discount is applied to your fare straight away.

On the website

1. Start your booking and proceed to the Payment Details step.
2. Click 'Add Extras'.
3. Enter your voucher code in the field provided and click 'Apply'.
4. The discount is applied immediately to the total fare.

In the SIXT App

1. Enter your route and ride details.
2. Before selecting a vehicle class, tap 'Add Voucher'.
3. Select a code from your wallet or enter a new one.
4. The final price adjusts automatically once the code is submitted.

Conditions to be aware of

• Vouchers cannot be added to an existing booking — cancel the current ride and apply the code to a new one.
• If cancellation fees apply, the voucher will be used to cover them first.
• Only one voucher can be applied per booking unless stated otherwise.
• Vouchers are non-transferable and must be redeemed by the account holder.
• Each voucher is subject to its own terms, including expiry dates and eligible ride categories.
• Check that your voucher is valid for the selected ride category and location before applying it.

If no cancellation fees were charged

Your voucher is still valid — you can apply it to your next SIXT hire.
