How are SIXT ride prices calculated?

SIXT ride prices are calculated differently depending on the type of ride and the service class you choose — taximeter, fixed rate, or hourly.

Taxi and on-demand rides

These rides use a taximeter. You'll see an estimated fare during booking, but the final amount is based on the actual route and shown at the end of the ride. No additional payment to the driver is needed.

Transfers and limousine services

Pre-booked rides in the RIDE, BUSINESS, FIRST, GREEN, and XL classes are charged at fixed rates. Prices include local taxes and reflect the service level you select. The following may affect the final fare:

• Demand, time of day, and location
• Route changes during the ride
• Extra waiting time
• Additional mileage beyond the agreed route

Hourly rides

A fixed hourly rate applies, which includes 30 km (20 miles) per hour. Exceeding that allowance incurs additional charges.
