How do I cancel a SIXT ride booking?

You can change your ride details at any time through the SIXT App — updates to your pickup time, locations, flight number, passenger details, and corporate information are all available in a few taps.

How to modify your ride

1. Sign in to the SIXT App
2. Open your upcoming ride
3. Tap "Modify Ride"
4. Update the details you need to change
5. Review the updated fare and confirm

What you can change

• Pickup time
• Pickup and drop-off locations
• Flight number
• Passenger details
• Corporate information

Good to know

Any change may affect the fare. The updated price is shown for your confirmation before you finalise the modification. Ride modifications are only available through the SIXT App — not via the website.

Modifications are not possible for taxi services or third-party rides (for example, Cabify, Lyft, or Addison Lee).

You can cancel a SIXT ride booking at any time through your account or directly from your confirmation email.

Cancel with a SIXT account

1. Sign in to your SIXT account on the website or in the SIXT App
2. Go to "Manage bookings"
3. Select the ride you'd like to cancel
4. Click "Cancel"

You'll receive a cancellation confirmation by email straight away.

Cancel a guest booking

1. Open the booking confirmation email sent after your booking
2. Click "Cancel ride"

A confirmation will be sent to your email address.

Cancellation fees
