Shortly after your vehicle has been inspected, you will receive a return receipt by email. It confirms that your vehicle has been returned and provides an overview of the estimated final charges.
Why does the return receipt show estimated amounts?
After returning your vehicle, we carry out a final inspection to identify any additional charges for services not included in the original rental price, such as refueling or special cleaning.
The final invoice may therefore differ slightly and will be sent to you once all calculations are complete – usually a few days after your rental ends.
The check-in report is an official overview created at the start of your rental.
It includes key information such as:
Can I complete the check-in together with a staff member?
Yes! Upon request, you can complete the check-in together with a SIXT employee. This allows you to review the vehicle’s condition and clarify any questions immediately.
Why is the check-in report important?
The report serves as an official record of your vehicle’s condition at the start of the rental. It ensures transparency, provides peace of mind, and helps make your rental experience smooth and hassle-free.
