How to reserve your rental car

Step 1: Choose your pick-up location and rental period

• Enter your pick-up and return location as well as date and time in the booking form on our website or in the app.
• Booking at a station is also possible, but online or via the app is the fastest and most convenient option.

Step 2: Select your vehicle

• Choose from a wide range of vehicle categories – from compact cars to SUVs.
• The internationally standardised ACRISS code helps you compare vehicle features more easily.

Step 3: Select your rate and price

• Once you enter your details, the best available online rate is automatically displayed.
• Weekly and weekend rates are included directly.

Step 4: Add extras

• Enhance your booking with extras such as a navigation system, additional driver or protection options – for your journey with SIXT.

Step 5: Enter personal details and payment

• Enter the driver details and select your preferred payment method.
• The payment method holder must be registered as the main driver in the rental agreement.
• Additional drivers can be added.

Step 6: Complete your booking

• Once completed, you will receive your reservation confirmation.
• You can easily modify or cancel your booking online or via the app.

Step 7: Pick up your vehicle

• Collect your vehicle at the agreed time.
• Please bring all required documents with you.
• Our team will be happy to assist you on site.

Important information about your reservation

Advance booking time:

• For certain vehicle categories (e.g. convertibles), a booking period of up to 24 hours in advance may be required.

Rental duration:

• One rental day equals 24 hours.
• Special rates apply only to the booked rental period.

Fuel policy:

• Vehicles are provided with a full tank.
• Please return the vehicle fully refuelled.
• Fuel costs are not included in the rental price.

Pricing:

• Prices are only binding once the booking is completed.
• They may vary depending on availability.
