Try a visit to the 'Boulevard of Gastronomy', a market designated just for food, for which this city is famous. The city also has a beautiful array of parks with fountains to cool off in, and even a golf course in the centre of the financial district. Along its coastal stretches, the surf is great for surfing, so why not put a board in the boot of your car and take off for the beach. Or if the history of Peru interests you, take a trip to 'Aliaga' house which dates from 1535. It is the oldest, and best preserved colonial house to see.
