As a Sixt Platinum member, I always has a great experience at the Amsterdam West location.

Cars are always great, almost new (sometimes actually new) and clean.

After using Sixt, I never go for the cheap car rentals, trust me, they will try to get more money from you, with SIXT, you pay but you get great cars and service!

Our experience at this Sixt branch was outstanding!! The Vehicle renting and handover experience were great. We initially booked an Audi A4, but it wasn't available, and Erwin at the branch who welcomed us very kindly immediately understood our needs and recommended an upgrade to a BMW series 4. He understood that we were in a hurry and did his best to make us checkout without delays, and was very transparent about insurance issues, and didn't try to "sell" us an insurance we don't need once he understood that we had an insurance we made prior to the booking. Erwin was also very kind to explain to us how to act in case of an emergency and told us about the rules in the Netherlands. Returning the car was also a very easy and seamless experience, where Erwin also explained to us the return process and let us inspect the vehicle with him. Also here, he was trustworthy and fair to tell us that scratches on the vehicle were already registered and were not caused by us, and that the car return process was over in a quick and easy way. Thanks so much Erwin for making our car rental experience at Sixt so amazing and easy!! We will surely come back to this branch and recommend it to our friends!!!

I have rented a car from Sixt twice recently, and both time everything went smooth. No waiting, friendly staff, a clean, new and well-equipped car, and an easy booking process. I might have been lucky, but both time my booking was upgraded to a higher class. I once had to call Sixt emergency support on a Saturday evening, as I was unable to lock my car, and I was helped quickly (it turned out there was no problem: the key unlocks the car automatically when approaching it, which I wasn't aware of).
