Walk straight through terminal to actual Sixt desk. Dozens of tourist sharks will try to pull you into their schemes as soon as you go through customs. Keep walking to outer lobby to find Sixt desk.
Very helpful employees and quick shuttle to offsite office where cars are located.
If you want to save money pay online from home before arriving though. Use your credit card to cover collision insurance! This will save you hundreds of dollars. I opted for additional liability insurance ($10/day) because included insurance only covers up to $17,500 medical if you hit someone.
Additional insurance covers up to $250k or so. Car itself was Nissan Versa with a huge trunk ($10/day). Big enough for two adults and two kids with 5 or 6 bags.Took the Baja dirt roads great with no dents. Overall good experience at $20/day.
Beware that they use exchange rate of 20 pesos/US dollar (as of January 2020) which may not work to your advantage. Paying in advance online will save you money.
