Welcome to our digital SIXT location! To enjoy the full digital self-service experience, please verify your details before your rental. This one-time process only takes a few minutes. Simply follow the instructions you will receive by email and provide your personal information and driver's license data. We will then prepare your vehicle and you will receive a QR code that you can use to pick up your key from our keybox. The orange key box is located approximately 5 metres to the left of the branch entrance door. You will find the PIN for access to the parking garage during the key collection process in the directions section of your SIXT app.

Directions from the east of Nuremberg: Follow Bahnhofstraße towards the main railway station. At the intersection of Bahnhofstraße / Gleißbühlstraße, turn right in the direction of Marientor. After approximately 150 metres, you will reach the SIXT branch on the left-hand side of the road. Directions from all other directions: Follow the signs to Nuremberg Main Railway Station. After crossing Bahnhofsplatz, turn diagonally left into Gleißbühlstraße in the direction of the airport. After approximately 150 metres, you will reach the SIXT branch on the left-hand side of the road. Unfortunately, the SIXT branch Nuremberg City Centre is unable to provide parking facilities for your private vehicle. We therefore recommend travelling by public transport / Deutsche Bahn. Should you be travelling by car, a limited number of free parking spaces are available in the surrounding streets, as well as the public car park at Nuremberg Main Railway Station at Bahnhofsplatz 5.

The SIXT branch is located just a few minutes' walk from Nuremberg Main Railway Station and is easily accessible by train, underground and tram. Deutsche Bahn (DB): Exit the main railway station via the Bahnhofsplatz/East exit in the direction of Gleißbühlstraße. From there, it is approximately 250 metres, or about 2–3 minutes on foot, to the SIXT branch. Underground: Take lines U1, U2 or U3 to Hauptbahnhof stop. Follow the signs to the Bahnhofsplatz/Gleißbühlstraße exit. From there, the walk is approximately 150 metres. Tram: Lines 5, 7, 8 and 11 stop directly in front of the main railway station. From the stop, it is also approximately 180 metres, or 2–3 minutes on foot, to the branch.

Our parking spaces are located directly in front of the branch and in the car park — please follow the Car Return signs.
