I am writing this review to provide positive feedback about Luke, a representative of SIXT Car Hire employed at the Moorabbin Office in VIC, Australia.
Unfortunately, I was not able to utilize the standard feedback system as the link expires within 7 days of hire.
My insurer, RACV, arranged a hire car through its partner SIXT until my vehicle was repaired.
Upon arrival I was immediately greeted warmly by Luke, a friendly, well presented employee who demonstrated exceptional customer service.
He promptly explained the contract in detail, answering any questions or concerns I had and subsequently the mechanics of the vehicle.
He did not miss a beat when the vehicle’s battery did not work and organised a replacement vehicle within minutes. He also ensured that there was an approved child safety attachment for my infant’s car seat restraint. I drove away confident as a consumer with the knowledge that I was hiring a reliable and safe product.
Upon return of the vehicle I was again promptly served by Luke. He booked a taxi for the journey to the Smash Repairer with an approved child safety attachment. He then advised a suitable taxi would be arriving shortly.
Upon arrival, Luke greeted the Driver and reaffirmed the agreed terms of service. The Taxi driver advised that he did not have what was required and that it was normal practice for a child or infant to sit upon the parents lap. Luke reaffirmed the agreed terms of service and stated no, a new taxi is requested, one that can fulfil the terms of service.
Upon further investigation, a hidden approved child safety attachment was found imbedded in the backseat of the taxi that enabled the child seat restraint to be securely fastened.
I thanked Luke for his dedication to providing exceptional customer service in particular ensuring the safety of myself and my infant daughter and continued safely on my journey to the Smash Repairer.
It is important that as consumers we recognise and provide positive feedback directly to employees. It is also equally as important that we formally acknowledge it in writing so that Management and the community are aware of the exceptional standard of customer service provided by SIXT employees.
