At Sixt, our mobility services go beyond car rental. We also have a varied fleet of moving vans, minibuses, luxury cars and in some locations, even bikes. Following a recent marketing coorporation with leading German tractor manufacturer Claas, you can now also rent a tractor from available stations across Germany! We’re hoping this coorperation someday extends to the UK, but until then this services is only available at 5 Germany Sixt branches in Stuttgart, Munich Freimann, Brunswick North, Lubeck, and Frankfurt East.
How does it work?
The pick-up service isn’t quite the same as a standard vehicle rental, where you get the keys at the branch. Interested customers looking to rent a CLAAS tractor can hand in their contact information and hire dates at the Sixt branch and then will be contacted directly to finalise the rental agreement.
You don’t nescessarily need to be a farmer to pick-up a CLAAS tractor – maybe it’s just for fun, a treat for a loved one or for an unusual day out in the countryside. Available to rent for a day, week or however long you choose are top class (excuse the pun) CLAAS models such as the Axion 800 and 900 Series.
