You can modify your SIXT reservation directly online via Self-Service or via the App. Once you log in to Self-Service, a security code will be sent to your email address, giving you direct access to your booking details so you can conveniently make changes if needed. You can add or modify additional services such as liability reduction including theft protection, tire and glass protection, or an additional driver up until the start of your rental. Fees for any additionally added drivers apply for the entire rental period.

Please note: Delivery and collection is subject to availability. Our dedicated branch will contact you if delivery will not be possible. For delivery and collection you must make a prepaid ("Pay Now") booking.
SIXT generally offers the rental of vehicle groups, not specific makes or models. Therefore, we cannot guarantee a particular car model.
However, you can indicate a preference during the online booking under “Comments.” We will do our best to accommodate your choice, depending on availability at the time of pick-up.

About 30 minutes before the start of your rental, you can choose your vehicle from the available models within your booked category.
This allows you to enjoy maximum flexibility and transparency and easily select the vehicle from your booked category that suits you best – all conveniently from your smartphone.

Has your appointment been rescheduled? Is your move delayed? Or have your weekend plans changed at short notice? No problem: With SIXT, you can flexibly cancel your car rental reservation – depending on the tariff you booked.
If you pay for your rental at pickup (Flexi rate), you can cancel at any time before the rental begins at no cost, without incurring any cancellation fees. This way, you stay mobile in any situation and can plan your trip with peace of mind.
If you pay for your rental in advance (Prepaid rate), you can also cancel your booking. Especially convenient: cancellations or changes are free within 24 hours of booking, provided your scheduled pickup is more than 48 hours away. The exact fees and conditions can be found in our rental information. This way, you always know exactly what options apply to your booking and can plan your trip securely.
