You can return your SIXT+ car at any time — returning it to a SIXT station ends your existing contract. To avoid a fee, give at least seven days' notice and schedule your return date in the SIXT App.
\n\nWhen can you return your car?
\nYou can return the vehicle at any point before your 30-day billing period ends. Bear in mind that returning early does not reduce your monthly charge — the full 30-day rate is always billed in advance, regardless of when you hand the car back.
\nThe latest you can return the vehicle is before the end of your third 30-day period. You'll receive an email reminder well in advance of that deadline.

\n\nWhere to return the vehicle
\nReturn the car to the SIXT station where you originally collected it. You can confirm the exact return station in your online account. If you return to a different station, one-way fees will apply.
\nUnannounced returns are accepted at any time, but because we're unable to arrange an appraiser in advance, an additional return fee of £39.99 applies.
\n\nWhat happens at the return inspection
\nWhen you return the car, a SIXT appraiser will carry out a full inspection with you. Together, you'll complete a return report and photos of the vehicle will be taken. Normal wear and tear from everyday use will not be charged. For any damage, your liability is capped at the excess level you selected in your subscription.
