Configure your car subscription
Choose your vehicle category, contract duration, mileage package, insurance and extras. Select the pickup date and location. The minimum advance booking time is 24h. Complete the booking on the website or in the SIXT app.

Pick up your vehicle from the selected SIXT station. Due to our large network our cars are available on short notice.

You can cancel your car subscription monthly. Then simply return the car to a SIXT station.

All our SIXT+ vehicles are new or as good as new and a maximum of 12 months old. Each vehicle is also professionally cleaned before handover.
Credit and debit cards from all internationally recognized providers (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB) are accepted as means of payment. Payment with prepaid or Maestro cards is not possible. The means of payment must be issued in the name of the driver, presented on vehicle pick-up and valid for at least 30 days. In addition, depending on the vehicle category, a security deposit will be authorized. For business customers with a framework agreement, invoice payment is also available.
Certain regulations apply to the minimum age and driving license possession, which depend on the respective vehicle and are displayed in the online booking process. In general, the minimum age for every driver is 21 years (driving license held for at least 1 year). A deviation from the minimum age and driving license possession is possible depending on the exact vehicle. An additional fee (young driver surcharge) is charged for drivers under the age of 28.
You can easily choose the pick-up date for starting your car subscription yourself in the first step of the online booking process. When you completed your booking, the selected date is also shown in the booking confirmation email and in the subscription view in your SIXT account. On the day of pick-up, you can collect your vehicle from 10 am on.
You can return your vehicle after expiry of the minimum term at any time to the SIXT branch in order to easily terminate your subscription with effect of the next possible date. Please note that returning the vehicle before the end of a 30-day billing period will not result in a pro-rata refund for unused days and returning the vehicle before the end of your chosen minimum term will not reduce the term of the contract without a corresponding charge.
All our SIXT+ vehicles already have liability insurance. In addition, when configuring your subscription, you have the option of selecting your protection package, e.g. for a lower excess, tire and windscreen protection, or personal accident protection. We also offer our 24-hour mobility service, an option that protects you from further potential costs, especially in breakdown situations.
The SIXT+ car subscription aims to cover all individual mobility needs flexibly, easily, and at short notice. That's why we offer a wide selection of different vehicle groups, from small cars to premium SUVs. All vehicles in our fleet are new or as good as new, generously equipped and categorized into groups based on comparable characteristics. There is no guarantee for a specific desired model from the booked group.
*All prices include taxes and fees. Additional charges may apply at certain locations. All Sixt+ applications require Sixt review for approval before commencement of a Sixt+ Subscription. One month is equivalent to a period of 30 days; plus a one-off, one-time, sign-up fee of 0.00 GBP - 249.00 GBP - 499 GBP; insurance coverage will depend on the package selected, with an excess liability maximum of 1950 GBP. Your rental includes a specific amount of mileage depending on your election in your application. Costs for fuel are not included. Geographical restrictions apply. You can elect to add optional products by paying an additional amount in the application process, or add them during your subscription, per the Sixt+ terms and conditions. An exchange of the vehicle for another vehicle model is possible on request, subject to availability. The fee is £49 per customer-initiated exchange process and applies regardless of whether it is a vehicle model from the same or a higher / lower vehicle category. A minimum duration of 30 days applies. Upon expiration of the minimum duration, the contract is automatically extended a month at a time, up to a maximum of 3 months (90 days). You are entitled to terminate the contract at any time by returning the vehicle to your selected Sixt branch in your application. The act of returning the vehicle to said branch is considered termination of the existing subscription with effect from the end of the 30 day-billing period during which time the vehicle was returned. Please note that the image and the vehicle specifications shown are merely illustrative of the category in question (subject to errors). It is only possible to make a reservation for a category, not for a specific vehicle. The information provided is based on the smallest model available in the category. Black Friday Deal: Only valid for bookings from November 29th, 2024 (00:00 a.m.) until December 8th, 2024 (00:00 p.m.): receive 2024 free miles when applying the code BLACKFRIDAY2024 at checkout. Free miles are automatically credited to the kilometer vault. They are available to the customer in addition to their booked miles package and are automatically redeemed once the monthly miles driven exceed the quota of booked miles. Free miles can be used for all future subscription periods. If the subscription is cancelled, all unused miles still in the miles vault expire. There is no entitlement to cash payment of miles collected if they are not redeemed. Only applicable for new customers.
