During a move, there are many things to remember. In order to actively support you during your planning, we have created an easy-to-read checklist to assist you in what you need to think about.
Start early with your preparations: For example, giving notice on your current apartment, advising insurances and authorities of your change of address, co-ordinating the moving-in day with your new landlord and/or obtaining removal gear and transport will all be aspects that will need dealing with in the next three months.
Also, moving house is always a good opportunity to have a thorough clear-out in a cellar, loft, garage, storage area etc. Over time, all sorts of items start to accumulate and if you are renting a van, then you might as well use it to organise a trip to the recycling centre to dispose of old electrical goods etc.

To be able to find your favourite items quickly and easily once you have moved, we recommend that you label the moving boxes clearly in an easy-to-read style.
Crockery, books, clothing, files ... during a move all your belongings will disappear into boxes and be carried into your new home. Once you are there, the big question is what is in which box: where are the glasses and where are the children’s toys?
