If you’re taking a trip that involves driving in Spain<\/a>, it’s always a good idea to know some of the rules and regulations before you go. Many of the regulations are similar to other European countries, but speed limits and other information can be quite different than the UK. Don’t worry, though, you will be ready to hit the road after reading our driving guide for Spain!<\/p>\n

We will say now as it is a common question after Brexit: your UK licence will be accepted as normal in Spain. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Speed Limits in Spain<\/h2>\n

The following speed limits are generally valid unless marked differently by signs. If there is fog, snow, or rain that make visibility less than 50 metres, a speed limit of 50 kph (30 mph) applies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
Within city limits:<\/th>\n50 kph (30 mph)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Outside city limits:<\/th>\n70-100 kph (43-62 mph)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
