Yes, reporting the damage to SIXT is mandatory, even for minor damages or single-vehicle accidents where no other vehicles are involved.

\nDo I need to report an accident even if I was the only one involved?\n

Yes. Single-vehicle accidents, such as hitting a post or kerb, must also be reported to SIXT immediately.

\nCan I have the vehicle repaired myself?\n

No. Repairs may only be carried out by authorised SIXT partner workshops. Attempting repairs yourself is not allowed and will result in the loss of insurance coverage.
