Sofia is an exciting meeting point of history and present. About 250 historic, archeological and architectural monuments have been preserved in the modern capital, the centre of the country's political and cultural life, a tourist destination and hospitable venue for major international forums. Not far from hotel Kempinski you'll find the Earth and Man National Museum and the National Palace of Culture.
