Sixt’s London Vauxhall location in South Lambeth Place is relocating to a BRAND NEW and BIGGER location in Battersea.
London Vauxhall will transfer all it’s operations to the new location as of Monday 11 February 2008, where customers can expect to benefit from the excellent service they have become accustom to from their Vauxhall team.

Readers of the German trade publication Business Traveller have voted Sixt AG as the ‘Best Car Rental Company in Europe’ in their 2006 survey.

According to this ranking, Sixt clearly surpassed the competition in fulfilling the central quality and performance criteria for car rental in Europe, among them a top price/performance ratio, an easy and straight forward rental process, high vehicle quality and the solid know-how of the employees.

The ‘Business Traveller Award’ is conferred yearly by the readers of Business Traveller (Germany). The award is considered to be a true public choice prize, as the publisher and editors of the trade publication exercise no influence at all on the readers’ vote. Over 700 readers took part in voting for the German ‘Business Traveller Award 2006’. Last year the readers selected Sixt as being the best car rental company in Germany.

Weds 14/11/06 - Sixt opens at Glasgow Prestwick Airport

As part of Sixt's expansion within the UK, an agreement has recently been signed with Infratil Airports Europe, operators of Glasgow Prestwick International Airport for a car rental concession within the arrivals hall at the airport.

An initial term of five years has been agreed, and, while a new office is under construction, Sixt are already operating from a temporary facility in the arrivals hall.

A full range of quality cars is available from this location, as well as a selection of people carriers and minibuses, which will seat up to seventeen people. Commercial vehicles may also be rented from the airport.

Glasgow Prestwick International Airport is the UK's fastest growing airport, with passenger numbers expected to double within five years. A number of "budget" airlines bring passengers to Scotland from many locations in the UK and Europe, and Sixt are delighted to have secured
