"I was very pleased. I chose Sixt after searching the internet for a good deal. the price and the fact that you had a depot in Lichfield made me choose you. The booking experienece was simple. I realsied after I had made the booking that a tail lift could be useful. This change was handled very well. The van (an LDV Luton) was in good condition and turned out to be a better choice than the one I had originally booked. By that I mean it was a better shape (a rectangular box) and was easier to load and unload. It had some small defects. The tail lift power button (in the cab) was loose. One of the wall slats (for tying down the load and protectimg the van sides) was coming loose at one end. The interior light (inside the load deck) would not come on (a bit of a problem because I was loading into the evening). I don't want these niggles to detract from what I consider to be good service. I got exactly the right vehicle for my needs. The phone contact with Sixt was excellent. The guy who handed over the van explained everythiung I needed to know (I didn't ask about the interior light) and was most helpful. I think that I got good value for money and was (because I got the right van) able to do everything faster than I expecetd. I was worried about driving a large vehicle, but found that the LDV Luton was easy to drive. Your Sixt phone rep was helpfu when I changed the booking. She explained that it was bigger than the one I had ordered but, because it was slightly shorter I would probbaly find it slightly easier to manouvre. She was spot on. Thanks - I will use Sixt again.
