Location plan - how you find us
Exit the station through 'Market Street' exit and proceed left (past Edinburgh City Council buildings). At the end of East Market Street turn left under the bridge on to New Street and then right on to Calton Road. At the end of Calton Road take a left on to Abbeyhill and then pass under the bridge to the right. Sixt Abbeyhill is on the left.
Follow A1 into Edinburgh until it becomes London Road (A1). Turn left on to Abbey Lane (opposite Meadowbank shopping park). At the end of Abbey Lane turn right on to Abbeyhill and proceed 300 meters. Sixt Abbeyhill is on the right.
Follow the A902 into Edinburgh until it becomes Ferry Road (A902). Turn right on to Inverleith Row (B901), after 1.3 miles turn left on to Broughton Street (B901). At the roundabout take the 2nd exit on to Leith Street(A900) and then turn left on to Calton Road. At the end of Calton Road take a left on to Abbeyhill and then pass under the bridge to the right. Sixt Abbeyhill is on the left.

"I found Sixt as a last minute try using the internet on the train on my way to Edinburgh. You were able to take my booking and enable me to get to your office by 5.00pm. Europcar close at 4.30 pm and you can't book on line within two days of the hire. As long as your price is in line with the others I will now tend to use you if I come to Edinburgh station. I also fly quite a lot and have used Europcar previously mainly through Easyjet. From what I can see if I book a car with you the total price is almost identical. Cost of car is slightly more expensive but your insurance is cheaper. So I very much hope to use you for the next trip in March especially if you can meet us at the station on arrival.In addition the service in the branch was excellent."

"Overall the car and service was good, the price which is posssibly the most important factor was also very reasonable. On the Friday our train was substantially delayed and upon calling the Edinburgh office they were very helpful. The service representative was also very helpful. I forget her name, but she was the blond lady and she gave us some very useful advice and directions for getting out of Edinburgh. Overall as I said we've had a good experience and assuming that price remains competitive I would be happy to use Sixt again."
