Alicante
Alicante is a historical port on the Costa Blanca Mediterranean coast of Spin. Originally used as a trade centre for Spanish exports of rice, wine, olive oil, oranges and wool Alicante is now a busy tourism driven city. "The main reasons that I chose Sixt are because you are competitively priced and also because you are the only rental company at Alicante airport that has a "pick up full drop off full" fuel option. The other copmpanies force costomers to buy a full tank off fuel from them at inflated prices and return empty (with no refund), which is simply a method of stealing from their customers."

Jose Blanco, Development Minister, broke the on Tuesday and also revealed that there were only nine profitable airports within Spain. Many holidaymakers heading to Alicante Airport were left disappointed this morning as hundreds of flights across the UK were cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Amongst those cancelled were flights from Blackpool Airport heading to Alicante Airport.
